About the Role
Job Description - Welder Helper (Project Crew) (2610002198) Prepares materials for welding by cleaning and grinding and
Assist Welder with fitting, cutting and alignment in all fabrication processes. Operate and maintain welding machine as
required by the Welder. Proficient in the use of oxygen and acetylene cutting equipment. Familiar with the type and size
of various welding rods and wire used by the Welder. Proficient in the use of various power and hand tools used in
layout and fabrication. Works with small crews and performs all necessary tasks to complete projects. Operates necessary
transportation units and prepares clear and concise reports. Interprets welding layouts, blueprints and sketches.
