About the Role
School Van Driver Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, this position of a School Van Driver is to
ensure the safe, timely, and secure transportation of students to and from school. This includes adhering to traffic
laws, following designated routes, maintaining a safe driving environment, ensuring students are properly seated and
supervised, and being vigilant to prevent accidents or incidents during transit. The driver contributes to creating a
positive and disciplined environment to ensure the safety and well-being of students during the trip. Required Valid
State of Illinois Driver's License, School Bus Permit (SBP) with Passenger endorsement issued by the State of Illinois.
