Bus Driver Bargaining Unit: DUTU Department/Location: Transportation Calendar Days: 192 Reports To: Route Manager

Function / Position Summary To provide the safest mode of transportation for the students of School District U-46

through the highest level of maintenance and repair standards. Job Duties / Responsibilities Obey all traffic laws and

observe all mandatory safety regulations for school buses. Maintain appropriate driver license and endorsements as

required by all state and federal regulations. Maintain student discipline and report violations to the appropriate

authorities. Ensure at least one-half (1/2) full fuel tank prior to parking the bus. Responsible for cleanliness of the
