Job Description JOB TITLE: WELDER / FABRICATOR Non-Exempt Position REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager

DEPARTMENT: Welding BASIC FUNCTION: Perform, under minimum supervision, the function of lay-out, fabricating and mig

welding. GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ~ Interpret simple to difficult drawings, sketches and/or work from samples and

instruction. \n ~ Clean, cut and prepare various metals for welding. \n ~ Set-up and perform mig welding on items for

customer products. \n ~ Safely operate various pieces of equipment such as the saw, cutting torch, presses (hydraulic

drill and punch), brakes, etc. in order to produce various sub-assemblies. \n ~ Responsible for producing acceptable
