Collator Machine Operator

About the Role

Collator Machine Operator Routinely operates a continuous or unit set collator based on job ticket instructions.

Conducts routine maintenance and makes minor repairs to equipment as necessary. Responsibilities Reviews job folder for

special instructions pertaining to any bindery and finishing requirements. Primarily responsible for the set-up and

operation of a collator, but may be cross-trained on other equipment such as: Encoder, Label Affixer, Rewinder, Folder,

Stitcher, Drill (punch). Reports production problems and/or errors to identify possible changes in procedures to prevent

re-occurrence. Ensures equipment maintenance is performed and reports any downtime affecting production schedules and
