About the Role

We are working with a client company seeking a Vertical CNC Machinist (Swiss Machines) for their company in the greater

Chicago Metro region. Setup and Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) by loading

programs, tools, and raw materials. Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools (micrometers,

calipers) to ensure they meet blueprint specifications. Monitoring: Monitor machines for unusual sounds or performance

issues, adjusting feeds and speeds to ensure optimal production. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine errors or

production faults to minimize downtime. Experience: Previous experience operating CNC machinery (mills, lathes) or
