CDL Class a / Shipping Material Handler
About the Role
Truck Yard Operations Move loads around the truck yard and periodically off-site, a few blocks from the facility.
Ability to back up trailers to dock doors, often with other trailers on either side of the dock. Verify loads for
accuracy, i.e., proper paperwork, DOT trailer seal, etc. Use of other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, manual
jacks, and forklifts. Occasionally assist the shipping/warehouse department with manually loading and unloading trucks
with products up to 35 lbs. Basic vehicle maintenance, clean out the truck before or after moving. Perform pre- and
post-trip inspections. Requirements: Class A Good customer service & teamwork skills Good physical condition; must be
