About the Role

School Bus Trainer Under the supervision of the Director of Transportation, the Bus Driver Trainer position will provide

classroom instruction and behind the wheel training of new driver applicants. Develop and maintain an ongoing school bus

training and safety program using methods approved by The Illinois Professional School Bus Training Curriculum. Minimum

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ~ High School Diploma ~5 years' experience as a bus driver or trainer ~ No preventable

accidents or moving violations for the previous 3 years ~ Possession of current Class B Commercial Driver's License

(CDL) with a passenger and air brake endorsement required. ~ Able to pass random (federally mandated) drug screenings to
