Bus Driver

About the Role

Bus Driver To provide safe and efficient transportation for students so that they may enjoy the fullest possible

advantage from the District's curricular and extracurricular programs. Valid license to drive a school bus. Successfully

complete the Physical Examination and Certificate for the Illinois School Bus Driver. Transportation

Director/Superintendent, with line responsibility to Principals. Performance responsibilities: Observes all mandatory

safety regulations for school buses. Shares behavior expectations clearly with students and maintains discipline when

students are on bus. Keeps assigned bus clean and fueled. Performs all pre-trip inspection tasks as required by law.
