About the Role

Bus Driver Position Hiawatha CUSD #426 is looking for several bus drivers. Performance responsibilities include obeying

all traffic laws, observing all mandatory safety regulations for school buses, monitoring and maintaining student

conduct when students are on bus, reporting any student concerns to the transportation coordinator and building

principals, keeping assigned bus clean, keeping to assigned schedule, checking bus (performing pre-trip inspection)

before each operation for mechanical defects, notifying the Transportation Coordinator in case of mechanical failure or

lateness while on the route, picking up and releasing students only at authorized locations, exercising responsible
